ARCHIVED PHOTO: Located right downtown was the Tumbler Ridge Newspaper a locally owned and operated in Tumbler Ridge. With the changes in the newspaper industry, (less advertisers) it closed its downtown location and operated out a residence until early 2017 when Loraine Funk, the owner, passed away. When in operation, the Tumbler Ridge News was delivered door-to-door, free of charge, every Saturday.
After being without a newspaper for nearly two years, Trent Ernst, who was editor of the Tumbler Ridge News, decided to launch a new newspaper called Tumbler RidgeLines in December 2018. He is the owner, publisher and editor. Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.
