In about 1933 the property became known as Bird's General Store. In 1946 it was converted into a closthing store when Cyvert Birkland purchased it. In 1953 it was sold again and became a general store. In 2024 it is home to "Don't Be Chy Boutique", 9905-100 Street, Sexsmith.
