The boat launch is totally exposed (2010) as the shallow water is evident at Saskatoon Island Provincial Park. There are no streams feeding this lake and there is little spring run off. The lake actually starts 7-8 feet past the end of the cement boat launch thus making the boat launch inoperable. There are no plans to extend the boat launch as most boats would hit bottom in the shallow water once in the lake. In 2014 or 2015, the situation has not improved.
