In the first period it was the Grimshaw Huskies taking control of the game by scoring all 4 goals. Hunter Miller made it 1-0 after 6:51, Clinton Reid and Logan Putio assisting. Joshua Peters fired one in the net short handed (2-0) after 11:40, Ty Wiebe assisting. It was 3-0 when Brendan Hawryluk scored after 16:40, Hunter Millar and Davis Rose setting up that play. The final goal was a short handed effort from Ty Wiebe after 18:59, Joshua Peters and Clint Polukoshko assisting. The period was over and the Huskies had a huge 4-0 lead. Shots on goal: visitors 15 - home 17. In goal for Manning was Braden Gamble and in goal for Grimshaw was Cory Houlder. There were 2 minor penalties called with both against the Huskies. 

In the 2nd period Kyle Richardson extended the lead for the Huskies (5-0) after 4:10, assists to Mark Simpson and Sheldon Szmata. Finally the Comets found the net as Taylor Paulovich scored (5-1) after 4:31, assists to Tyler Dillman and Michael Vreeling. But the Huskies responded with 2 more goals. Sheldon Szmata made his shot count (6-1) after 9:59, a powerplay goal with Kyle Richardson and Joshua Peters getting the helpers. Ty Wiebe gave the Huskies a 7-1 lead, Spencer Ross and Joshua Peters setting up the play. The Comets did manage to get one more before the period was up. This time Britt Olischefski scored after 11:35, with Dalton Ducharme and Joel Henitiuk assisting. After 2 periods the Huskies were leading 7-2 in this NPHL game. Shots on goal: visitors 11 - home 14. There were 5 minor penalties called with Manning getting 3 of the 5.

In the 3rd period only 6 seconds went by and the gloves were off. Thomas Dechant (Comets) and Lance Rapson (Huskies) both received 5 for fighting and 10 minute misconduct. When the teams were ready to play hockey it was Grimshaw continuing their strong pace with 3 more goals. Joshua Peters gave the Huskies a 8-2 lead after 2:30, a power play goal, with Hunter Millar and Clinton Reid assisting. Brendan Hawryluk scored after 4:03, his 2nd of the night with Corson Fairless and Bond Hawryluk assisting. Loewen Lambert made it 10-2 after 4:55, Ty Wiebe and Joshua Peters assisting. The final goal was scored by Tyler Dillman of the Comets after 11:57, from Britt Olischefski and Jordy Greschner. The game was over and the Huskies won it 10-3. Shots on goal: visitors 29 - home 55.
