The Grimshaw Memorial Arena as it looked in 2005. A vicious wind reaching over 150 km per hour raged through Grimshaw doing considerable damage on June 30, 2003. It has shattered windows, destroying the roofs and siding of many businesses. The old Memorial Arena had much damage to it as a portion of the building caved in. It was rebuilt (pictured above) but was totally destroyed by fire in September 15, 2008. Grimshaw Alberta.
