The German Canadian Hall has been used for many functions including a meeting place for the Grande Prairie Society of German Canadians. The first German Canadian Hall was located at the present Golden Star location in Grande Prairie back in the 1950's. It later moved to the old Fairgrounds in Grande Prairie (near where Crystal Park School is now.) And in 1988 moved to Clairmont. In 2012, marked the 50th Anniversary of the Grande Prairie Society for German Canadians. Clairmont, Alberta.
