Archived Photo: Located on main street Rycroft was the Central Peace Signal (Rycroft Signal) and the Dollar Store (archived above photo from 2002). The Central Peace Signal is a community newspaper started operation in Rycroft in 1978 and is published every Tuesday. The newspaper changed ownership in 1999 and again in 2018.This was also the same location as the Bahry's Store that was in operation for many years previous to this.

Bahry's Store, owned by Joe Bahry and his family sold groceries, clothing and dry goods until the 1970's.

Update: In the 2020 photo above, Lighthouse Promotions (signs, decals, printing) is where the Signal was and the Dollar Store portion of the building is empty. The offices of the Central Peace Signal are now at 4926-46 Avenue.
