Baytex Energy Centre is the premier recreation facillity located at 9810-73 Avenue, Peace River, Alberta. Peace River Mayor Tom Tarpey, County of Northern Lights Reeve Terry Ungarian, MD of Peace Reeve Robert Willing and Northern Sunrise County Reeve Carolyn Kolebaba were on hand to cut the grand opening ribbon on October 19, 2019. The new centre now includes an NHL-size hockey arena, a fieldhouse containing three multipurpose courts and a three-lane running track, a fitness centre and an indoor playground.
