GRANDE PRAIRIE DREAM HOME 2011

2011 Dream Home under Construction - 10720 Street and 158 Avenue, Westlake Village
The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie will now be running the Grande Prairie Dream Home Lottery taking over for the QEII Foundation. This year the proceeds will be going to the QEII Foundation as well as Rotary Community Projects. The Dream Home is currently under construction in Westlake Village, north of Grande Prairie, as it gets ready to be available to the public on May 6, 2011.

Westlake Village is located on the far north end of the City not far from the new overpass. There are a couple ways to get there with the first travelling on 100 Street, north to UFA and turn west (156 Avenue) then wind your way to the far west of the subdivision. Another way to get there is the back way. From Tony Roma's go north on 108 street and follow the road past Bear Creek Golf Course and continue north on the gravel road along Range Roade 62 until you get to the subdivision. The Dream Home is visible from that road.

This years Dream Home is "Built Green" using technologies and products that reduce pollution, have greater energy effiency, and reduce maintenance built by Monarch Homes of Grande Prairie.

The 2011 Win A Dream Home brought in $250,000 from the sale of Dream Home tickets. $50,000 went to the QEII and the rest of the funds to local groups allocated by the Rotary Club.
